Stanford and Cal joining ACC would be bad from our standpoint. Since If they do they would likely look to create a bridge westward with teams like Memphis, SMU, and possibly even Boise State. I know some on this board think USF to ACC is likely at some point but I am not so sure.

We would need to see both FSU and Miami leave to have a decent shot.

He goes on to say:

If Stanford and SMU join, they can afford to forego their shares for a time, allowing other schools in the ACC to benefit monetarily.

So if Stanford and Cal are off to the ACC, what do the leftovers do?   Will WSU/OSU want to forge on in the rebuild of the PAC?  Also, will Cal be the only of the three additions to the ACC (SMU too) to receive revenue?  Trying to understand the logic of that move!

The ACC reminds me of a scene from Clue.

Stanford/Cal - Let us in! Let us in!

FSU/Clemson - Let us out! Let us out!

Would probably open the door for the big ten to look for a few schools in the south. Since people think FSU & MIami are stuck in ACC I wonder if there is another Florida option that is AAU???” Lol
