Even thought it hurts whatever chance to join them, I hope they don't go to 12 and get their TRUE champion by everybody playing each other ...

 

They could do that, but it doesn't help their SOS by adding another quality opponent (in the CCG) as the last thing voters see.

 

 

That's the thing. The assclowns in the smoke filled room will probably hold it against the Big 12 champion because they don;t have one like everyone else does.... even thought that's the best way to pick a champion.

 

 

At the end of the day if it gets us in the B12, I'll be fine with it

 

 

They'll be no complaints here either ...

OhioState247 reporting that b12 will add 2 schools. Supposedly in the pay locked portion it says that usf/them combo are the frontrunners.

If the Big 12 adds two more teams ... then its all in for USF.....

 

either: we get a step up to the big time forever and have schools like Texas and Oklahoma on our schedule every year.

 

or

 

we get destroyed by the last door closing for a number of years and our league loses one or two of its strongest members to be replaced by whoever is below Tulane on the pecking order.

 

Come on USF .... get this done!

My brother in law, an FSU alum and huge football fan, may jump off a bridge if this happens. He's been praying for FSU to leave the ACC for the Big 12 or Big 10 for years. He was devastated at the ACC GOR. If USF takes FSU's spot in the Big 12, he may just spontaneously combust.

Its amazing that UCfreakingF is going to help us get to the promiseland. If this happens both fan bases need to celebrate hard together this offseason....then we can hate each other again lol
