Unless I'm mistaken, the only G5 seriously mentioned recently, from legit sources, was SMU ........ and their location, along with their financial situation, was a significant factor in that.

No one else from the G5 would be able to say that they would forego $200 million of TV revenue and have their donors pick up that tab.
