Yes so that is why we are seeing the AAC superconference rumors. Looks like these rumors are hoping to steal a few MWC schools even though they have a buyout

That sounds plausible until one remembers this guy has been around awhile and was known as Bull Daly.

Now, if you want a real conspiracy, MK jacked Daly's account and changed the moniker.

Is USFs fanbase large enough to bring value to media companies who carry our content for the ACC…? 

Literally the only thing that matters is dollar figure flowing from media to universities. Academics, fans, athletes, students, those things don’t matter in realignment.
 

The only value USF might have is for recruiting exposure in Florida. The ACC already has Miami which has a bigger fan base and provides Florida media market. USFs fanbase isn’t big enough to make a dent in the media contracts. 
 

Our only hope is winning, and the OCS printing more fans. Then maybe we somehow get enough interest to be invited to another conference, or we make our destiny and the AAC teams somehow increase their fans and negotiate a better deal themselves for media rights.

The only prayer of a new super conference attaining autonomous status would be a total nogo without Stanford and Cal.  And even then it is not a carry over self proclaimed status......the remaining autonomous conferences would have to approve it............far from a slam dunk

Bull Matrix/Daly joined TBP in early 2003. VPMK left his OG position with USF in '02. He clearly created an account here to stay in tune with the Bulls knowing he would ultimately come back as AD some day

I would be surprised if USF is still a part of the AAC whenever all that goes down to be honest
