Yeah, you pretty much agree with me then.  The top sentence is pretty much what Bull94 is arguing.  The bottom sentence is more where my head is at.  

 

Edit:  Difference though, is that I think we could hang in most games in the B12 right away.  Pretty obvious that quite a few people feel differently.  

 

 

Who cares who said what?  It is the arguing that is important.  

 

I agree that we would be fine in the Big 12, even though we wouldn't compete for a title right away.

People, please stop saying that we should compete for the AAC title!   DUH!! Of course we're going to compete, just because we're not in a big conference doesn't mean we won't try!

Well, that's kind of a tough call,  part of me says we should sharpen our skills via the AAC with eyes on moving conferences later on. I do think, however, that if we were to jump ship - right now - we would be the doormat. In looking back on our CUSA/BE days, we were an average team. One day, we might be an average team in the Big XII, but it wouldn't be this day.

I don't think anyone's saying we'd jump right in and immediately be middle of the pack B12 ... THAT would be ludicrous ... but if you're going to try and continue to build a football program, the B12 offers a lot more tools.
