Most athletes will not be paid to play. Heck most sports don't offer full scholarships.

It's like working a full time job with tons of travel and going to school full time with almost zero compensation.

of course the last big 12 commissioner was paid over $4m per year

Correct they are making these super conferences mostly for football and basketball secondary  to make money. It will be interesting to see how it impacts the sports that aren't football.

funny I worked when I went to college and I could transfer anytime I wanted.

I guess you don't think student-athletes deserve the same rights as normal students.
