No they are going to add stanford and cal because espn wants night games and espn gets what they want(we arent and havent been part of what they want since botched BE negotiations)

Not sure if Stanford and CAL add much to the  ACC either though. I guess backfilling with new rivalries for the FSU/Clemson/NC/Miami to leave to SEC or BIG. Does anyone think Stanford and CAL bring a lot more money to the ACC contract?

FSU peeps already stated that non of those left over PAC teams will change their minds about leaving the ACC. USF will end up replacing them imo

Trying to catch up here as I've been away at work.  It seems that the ACC is trying to take the best of the PAC off the table.  Rolls eyes.  So instead of options for USF, we get to watch the ACC get larger.  Was all this consolidation just to downsize the PAC, move OSU and WSU to G5 and to create a P4?  Did it ultimately save the networks money?  ESPN and FOX get their property afterall.  So annoyed with all of that angst.  If a byproduct of the ACC adding new geography results in the ACC gaining revenue, why haven't they looked to add a team in Texas before?  Any more rumors of FSU leaving?

PAC are so stuck in their world that PAC is kind so I doubt their merge and let the PAC name go away. They will backfill with mostly MWC & AAC schools
