For sure. Just a matter of when and i think thats gonna be a few years.

Not WVU though. Hell no AD wants to travel there. How are they gonna make it to SEC 🤣. That and they have sucked lately.

The things I'd do for a home and home again with WVU. This is long overdue, no matter where the programs are. Great games and would absolutely jump on the chance to travel back there for a game

PAC4 meeting w/MWC tomorrow for merger discussions then immediately meeting with Apple and a few AAC schools to discuss expansion. Again all options are on the table but their preference is to expand and continue on.

So there is hope for some teams to get out of the AAC. I wonder if usf is  one of the programs in the pac plans to potentially invite.

So if they're going that direction, who are furthest west viable AAC teams ....... SMU, Tulsa, Rice?

That's what I thought too.  Not too exciting.

I thought I read here that Rice was a horrible player choice for the AAC. Why would the PAC/MWC choose them?

You forgot North Texas and UTSA is also in Texas. UTSA has had a good last 3 years. If they were really trying to keep the pac alive they would make a 16 team conference involving the pac4 and the teams they want from the AAC and MWC. PAC would not be regional anymore but neither is the SEC. I am not sure any TV network is interested in paying more than MWC/AAC for a new PAC conference.

I'm not sure.  I can research it if you want to know.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
