The G5 is at serious risk of getting shut out of CFB. AAC needs to merge or pluck from MWC and create a "best of the rest" that is too large to be dismissed but small enough to fill that mid tier niche for the networks etc. 4 time zones, large population centers, sound academics, rising programs.  

ARESCo thought he did good adding RIce, North Texas, Charlotte, and FAU to go along with two decent programs UTSA and UAB. I would be shocked if he added any top 75 programs .

Sad but true. I understand and agree with the sentiment of patience, just win, and build the stadium as everything will work itself. However, right now is the time and we can't do anything about it bc we had a terrible decade. The reason I say now is important is bc how much longer will these media networks continue to throw cash like this. The window is open now and very much closing fast. These contracts get locked in for several years at a time, so who knows when the next round will happen. If the season starts and we didn't even get a whiff of a new conference then we WILL be playing FAU as an AAC conference opener come the new stadium.

if they pull their heads out of their asses they would invite UConn USF Memphis Tulane and SMU and maybe 1 more (Navy/ECU/Temple?)... freaking load up like Aresco did with the AAC.

Thankfully USF has old BigEast allies in ACC. UL, Pitt, Cuse

All I know is AD MK ACC connections seem to putting USF further and further away from any power conference.

AD MK  and Jeff Scott were a very successful  combo at keeping USF out of  any power conference .
