If the PAC stays together who is #14 to join Colorado?

Some people actually enjoy moving up and being more competitive in life.

Would you rather skip on an offer to Harvard because you would possibly get a 3.0 GPA and you don't want to jeopardize your state school 4.2 GPA?

Would you rather stay the CEO of a small business than a VP at Apple?

Have the biggest house in your neighborhood or the smallest house in Tiger Woods neighborhood?

This may come as a surprise, but every situation has a middle ground. And sometimes that middle ground is the best option.

Maybe this helps us, Tulane, Memphis, and UConn get into the B12?

Maybe but I think they'd have three not four spots to get to 16 - a companion to Colorado, and two more. I'd like to think it'd be us, Tulane, and UConn, with Memphis getting left out. Who knows really.

More likely I think they'd just wait until the ACC situation plays out.

BYU is a companion to Colorado already

Who specifically do you know is a decision maker currently in the ACC that has any disregard for VPMK?

I do not think there is anyone that has any negative feelings towards him, I believe they have no idea who he is. If you want to say he has a positive impact it should be more than well he worked somewhere 11 years ago when most people at the top did not work there.

I think it is a good thing for us if the Pac can hang in there and stick together.

After Colorado, they are at an odd number. If they need to be even, they would add 1 or 3.

Understood, I just mean as a 14th school, since Colorado is going as #13. UConn probably takes that spot if Arizona backs out, which based on Tweets this morning seems more likely today than it did yesterday. So if they want to get to 16 (not certain to me), they'd add two more. They could wait until the ACC figures stuff out or move on USF and Tulane.

Memphis is always a possibility, but USF and Tulane are clearly superior adds in my opinion (for reasons I won't bother to flesh out right now).

It would absolutely be better for USF if the PAC-12 sticks together. We may potentially have two options to move up in conference (now or later) instead of just one.

If they are not going to get the PAC teams, then I would think that they go with 1.

We're back to discussing the potential for having 2 schools on an island (UConn and UCF) if they went to 14 and added UConn. I still believe that UConn is not interested in going to the Big 12 because their basketball supporters don't want to have what they had in the AAC all over again.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
