Some people actually enjoy moving up and being more competitive in life.

Would you rather skip on an offer to Harvard because you would possibly get a 3.0 GPA and you don't want to jeopardize your state school 4.2 GPA?

Would you rather stay the CEO of a small business than a VP at Apple?

Have the biggest house in your neighborhood or the smallest house in Tiger Woods neighborhood?

funny malcolm gladwell did a study on whether you were better off being towards the bottom-middle of ivy league class or towards the top of public state university class. his results said you are happier and have better life outcome and more self confidence if you are at the top of public university class.

we naturally compare ourselves to our peers

would you rather have been a vandy football fan or a ucf fan over the last 10 years?

I don’t think we want a “collapse”; I think we just want FSU and Clemson to go to the SEC and the ACC to add USF and UCONN. I believe this would be ideal for us.

Agreed. I just don't think it'll be just two schools that leave, if any leave.

3.0

Which one has to do the least work?

which house has lower taxes, HoA fees, and insurance payments? I will take that one

I ask again who specifically do you think is a decision maker currently in the ACC that has any regard for VPMK?

Who specifically do you know is a decision maker currently in the ACC that has any disregard for VPMK?

I also recognize that the MWC is going to be a firm contender for that one spot for the five minutes that it will exist and that with continued expansion

MWC schools will jump to PAC not the other way. PAC still holds the autonomous standing or whatever it's called. I believe so anyway for the next few years.

I guess if no one jumps they may be a contender.

Pac would be smart to try and expand further East, at least to the central time zone, to grab more eyeballs. Staying up late to watch Californian football has never appealed to me.

I really think their geography has hurt their brand and exposure.

This may have already been stated, but how is it that the B12 and B1G want to raid these PAC 12 schools because of their value, but as a conference together they have no value?

Because they would only want the cream, this is a little dated from Sports Illustrated but having more teams at the top makes you more valuable and having more at the bottom makes you less. Washington is more valuable without Washington State and Oregon is more valuable without Oregon State

The hope is that by being loud, they build leverage, and get their opponents to reconsider their legal positions and come to a settlement. If I were the ACC, I'd call FSU's bluff, because by all accounts that GOR is solid. FSU is saying that it was sold on signing the GOR based upon fraudulent numbers, and that is the reason they think they can get out. But if that's true, they'll need to prove it, which will cost FSU time and money, and there's no certainty of success.

UNC AD: "I don't think it's good for our league for them to be out there barking like that..." 😆
