One thing I have liked about the AAC deal with espn is that conference games for both our football and basketball teams have been easily accessible for me worldwide with espn +. If our games moved to apple tv ( not sure what that is) or amazon,... I would be screwed.

FSU Board of Trustees Chairman on Warchant Live -- making the case why FSU can't succeed in the current ACC media deal.

When asked about the timeline "when is it too late to compete" - he said it "for some people it's five years. for some people it's tomorrow" -- because NIL complicates things tremendously - but it's "not until 2036"

When asked bout the GOR: The GOR "will not be the document that keeps us from taking action"

This is one great example of what is killing college football. ACC schools are upset that they are not getting enough money compared to the BigTen. Greed usually doesn’t end well so that is why I believe we will eventually see these super conferences fall apart. Think what is happening to PAC 12 & Big 12 is crazy just wait until the next deal is not what it used to be

He has been making an interesting point about not having resources to compete at the same level.

Consider Akron vs Ohio State.  Both are in the FBS... but why can't Akron compete at the same level as Ohio State?   Now, with NIL - if an Akron donor won PowerBall, he could "buy" the players that could do it... but eventually that donor would run out of lottery money.  As Ohio State gets more and more TV money, they can push tell their donors to the NIL... and eventually the power structure reverts back.

FSU vs Ohio State is not that much different... but the real issue is the worry that FSU will struggle to compete with Indiana or Vanderbilt because of the budget disparities.
