For what it's worth, you can buy access to Warchant for $1 for the month of August... the update today isn't a big deal, and it's been posted by others on Twitter.

Apparently the new developments today are:

  • UNC has been added to FSU and Clemson as movers out of the ACC
  • The ACC might actually disband and reform as a new conference rather than deal with the GOR hullabaloo.

Thanks for the update. I don’t believe that will happen. If anything you would have to think the SEC would step in and make sure the big ten doesn’t get what they want. I’m sticking with my earlier prediction in that UConn & USF will eventually end up in ACC

It shows just how much 💰 money we are talking about that even snooty UNC is willing to give up the power and influence they have in the ACC.

I would believe that more than FSU to Big Ten. At least UM & USF have AAU status that would sit well with the big ten presidents

I can’t see UNC being allowed to break away from the other Carolina schools

Nothing would stop them, to be fair -- they can still maintain NC State rivalry in football (and other sports) and the Duke rivalry in basketball without too much of an issue.  They're not really tied to little Wake Forest.

I still think big ten has MD & Rutgers to lock up the east and USC & UCLA to lock up the west. They will probably go Southwest & Southeast

Will the P2 collude or battle it out?  A proxy for a media war? Again?

Thanks Jim, but I can't.  I'm still paying at the Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, USC, UCLA, SMU, SDSU, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, Miami, Clemson and UNC sites.  That kills my monthly allowance.

Do you have something against Washington State and Oregon State?

What if we joined and called it the "SUPER American Athletic Conference" (SAAC)?
