If the ACC just went solid, doesnt the B12 now have to die as has been posited here before?  I think its great news that 2 of the big Florida 3 just got locked into one conference in the P5.  Assuming it stays a P5 and we keep moving in the right direction I have to believe either soon or in the maybe distant future the next team in a P5 conference is USF.

Has there been any more word on wether or not the B12 would be allowed to continue having a championship game with 10?

 

I imagine this might have something to do with what the B12 does as well, right?

I think the B12 was a better scenario for USF than the exploded ACC.

 

Of course we have to get into the B12 for that to Pan out.

I brought up Memphis because its a outside view of the conference, USF is not seen as a top school in the conference by fans at other schools.

I think Cinci's biggest drawback is their stadium size.  They play in a 35K capacity stadium (as does Boise, but at least Boise has some cred).  They apparently can't do much to expand in terms of stadium size due to the location of the stadium.  It's a pretty big crutch on their part.

 

Their market is OK.  They are closer to the B12 footprint, but at least we've heard B12 and Florida rumors.  Hopefully we get called up.  We need the WVU buffoons sources to come over and tell us that the GOR is non binding and FSU will sue their way out to stir the pot.

Chaos and the demise of the AAC would put USF in either CUSA or the Sun Belt or an independent with no TV time. Of course if USF is no longer on the TV that would make us that  live out of state no longer fans of the school according to some on this board.
