Yeah, the new B1G commissioner isn't as hot on expansion so they'll probably hold for a little. See how the playoff slots change after 2026.

This would make the most sense out of all the mud that has been thrown around. However, it makes too much sense so that means it is not happening lol

Which is cool with me. I may be in the minority that feels that USF needs more time in the AAC to help build them up and hopefully start winning. I would rather USF get invited to a power conference after they are winning then to get invited as a G5 doormat

That is impossible!!  USF is going to be fine in the long run. I’m sorry about what is happening to your PAC12 out there. Seems like they sat around and did nothing and now they are in trouble

That put the MWC on the back foot to backfill with who? Any school in the AAC or Sunbelt would be dumb to leave their current conference for the MWC, and CUSA/MAC would water down their product so much.

So then there would be a watered down PAC as the worst P5 conference. The AAC and Sunbelt would be the top two g5 conferences at that point, no?

That would have to happen after the contract expires. No way the G5 would agree to make changes to only include 4 conference champions after they battled to get 6 conferences champs
