That's the guy that thought the Memphis Athletics budget was bigger than UConn's ..... I'm still going with the golf peep.

It has an amusement level when you see who the tweets are from, but that’s about it.

The UConn to the ACC seems much more logical to me, if they really want to leave the Big East.

Lol I do notice that USF is not being mentioned as much now that the AAC preseason polls came out. USF will need to start winning to help produce more favorable rumors…

Yes! Perfect timing with the offseason almost over. This realignment rumor thread has served it’s purpose. This has to be one of the fastest off seasons that I can remember lol

I thought I read that the Big 12 commish said 14 was his number he wanted to be at by 2025. I actually believe that we need to be one of those 2 teams or we are screwed pending any ACC blow up in 10 years or an ESPN bankruptcy. Everything hinges on the B1G and SEC, which nobody knows what they are doing and when.

He did say something like that but he can't make expansion moves unilaterally. The university presidents have to support it. There's nothing official but the vibe seems to be no to G5 and non-football adds for now. Which makes sense with the PAC in flux now and the ACC at a crossroads when their tv deal runs out in 2036. There's no rush to add G5 teams unless you've been poached and need to stabilize like the PAC 12 last year or the Big 12 2 years ago.
