They certainly do.

I can envision a scenario where that league champion from the PAC12 has 2 or losses each year like they did a few seasons ago when they would have missed the 12 team playoff (Cincinnati and Coastal Carolina would have been the 5th and 6th rated Conference Champions that year).

Possibly but don't forget more teams  in the playoffs still means more money for sec and b1g schools to get extra spots.

Very true and highly likely on the at large spots.

So, you'll be rooting for the PAC12?

You misspelled Big 12.

I think they'll be better than the PAC 12 after USC and UCLA depart.

Nothing new in this CFN article, but it is a good, succint write up about conference expansion.  Bottom line for us is Memphis, Tulane and our Bulls to the Big IX.

Corrected - Big XII, though the Big 9 has a ring to it!

P.S.:  i also note that my father had the distinction of attending FSU's first football game and USF's first game as well.  Pretty cool.

That is cool.

The value in bowl games isn't the game.  It's the extra practices the team gets.

Lot of good it did those 2018 and 2019 years.

Edit: and to be serious for a second, the enormous change in personnel every year now probably means those extra practices mean less since the same kids aren't here the following fall.
