No they have not paid us anything.

 

 

 

The game with UF has been pushed back multiple times, I think we pushed it back more than UF. While I hate money games ... UF has treated us very well in terms of this game. They have accommodated our date change requests and offered to up the payout (since the rate in the contract was set when games like this went for a lot less.)

 

As for FSU, we should tell them they can have a 1 for 1, but if they wanted more home games, over them an 11 for 10 (I know they wouldn't sign this deal, but how great would that be).

The 'Noles saw that a game in Tampa is basically another home game for FSU anyways, so I don't think they'd shy away from another 1 and 1.

To get UF to Raymond James, you better hope they go 7-5 and get selected for the Outback Bowl.

 

For the foreseeable future, they won't take a road game at USF. 

 

Things that could change their willingness to play at USF are: FSU joining the SEC, opening up and home and home non-conference slot. Or the UF vs. UGA game moving back to campus sites, so that UF gets an extra home game every other year.

Its a two way street. They don't sell out all of the their games, and our 14,000 or so fans helped make their home game sold out.

Ray Jay would be chock-full of Gators, a lot of our season ticket holders would likely cough up their tickets to make money, just as they did against FSU. And that's just assuming that the Gators would even consider playing us outside of the Swamp, which will precisely happen when Hell freezes over and flying pigs are in command of Hades.
