True, I do wonder whether some of the same people who argue how bad the Big 12 is right now, would argue how great the Big 12  is if we received the Big 12 invitation tomorrow.

It’s not a big jump from “we got lucky not getting called up to the B12 because maybe in 20 years we can perhaps get called up to whatever skeleton remains of the ACC” to “I wouldn’t want to get called up to the B12”.

Look a at tweet posted on this board 21 hours ago in this thread regarding USF having dodged a bullet by not having joined the Big 12. Probably true regarding 99.9 of posters on this board, but the internet is full with people saying that USF should not join the Big 12.

Granted if we were invited by the Big 12 tomorrow we would 100 percent accept

His schtick is to say something outrageous and get clicks and responses, a true fan would understand the need to move up.  I simply believe if this was our only option at the time that 99 percent of the fans would jump at the invite while the one percent of inbred mouth breathers would hold off for a better option.  I guess we can agree to disagree that there is a large contingent of USF fans that would lobby to reject the invite.

No one thinks there is a large contingent but there does seem to be some that self identify with adjacent ideas, that there are any (especially when they say they actually like the aac) is nuts.

I picture him as a non descript white guy in his early 60’s, but agree that he is probably a better dresser than I depicted in the photo above, but not by much.
