I feel that we are turning into UL before our very eyes. I remember UL fans saying they were too good for C-USA & BigEast until things started to happen for them lol

Maybe, but let's be serious...anything currently labeled as a P5 conference is a tremendously vast improvement over the AAC or any of the G5 holding tanks.

Before there was a so called P5 there were the BCS conferences in which USF was part of for a short time. So forgive me for thinking the P5 will be around that much longer especially when the playoff format starts. I do believe we will eventually see the money run dry and then see more conferences formed.

Personally for me in doesn't matter which Power 5 conference. Any invitation to any power 5 conference will be a glorious and historic day for USF.

I have to see how much the costs would be. Basically the mainstream perception is the big 12 is going to be looked down on like the big east was. People will continue to bash it until they figure out how to talk another power conference school into joining. I do think it was wise of them to table expanding because they basically can’t convince any other power schools to join them right now. I don’t want USF to take them out of position for the inevitable ACC invite.
