What if USF gets three different invitations???  I say take the ACC or BigTen. big 12 & pac 12 invites should be put on hold…

Definitely Big 10. That conference is by far the most stable.

What if we get none? This thread will remain an infinite time sucking loop of  nothingness.

If we earn* an invite - it's very simple: B1G > ACC > B12. Golden scenario - B12 invite/join until next tv deal, then ACC loses FSU/Miami but get's a good TV deal regardless and add USF, WVU, Cinci, and Tulane. Get paid in short term, with long-term stability and partnerships with old Big East and academic institutions. Platinum scenario is replace ACC with B1G and we get added with UNC/Miami/ND.

"Vision without action are merely dreams". Gotta win and support now if we ever want an invite anywhere. And those are mutually exclusive - must support regardless of product on the field/courts.

Pac may stay together after all and the B12 may not expand? I don’t see the ACC being completely decimated either.

AAC and MWC should still exists after all this, I think the Sun Belt as well. MAC and CUSA would be the two biggest question marks if there is another large amount of shuffling.

I think the MAC is the most stable of all G5 conferences. Nobody has left through all of this and I think it comes from the standpoint that nobody wants any of them, they are long standing members and the growth of each school is so minuscule that nothing will change with them.

One must pass through to the other side to see what is beyond the loop.

I think sec is most stable and has the most  to back it up since  the college football playoffs started.

Dead on.  Those 12 schools have been together forever for football.  The only additions/subtractions have been for 3 schools with no football home for one or two years - UMass, Temple and UCF.

Heck yeah! All about some MAC- TION. I’m just glad that the new playoff format will give schools in the MAC a better shot at the playoffs. College football is about to be very excellent starting in 2024.
