San Diego obviously has an invitation although be it informal otherwise none of this makes sense.

Someone on Twitter postulated that the Pac-12 may have come to them and said their TV deal is about a month out so they're still weighing whether to go P12 or B12. Seems like it would be bizarre that either conference would allow them to hold things up, especially the B12, whom you could argue doesn't actually need them
