I’m not sure that my first post makes it clear enough which is probably why we aren’t finding understanding, but my ultimate point is of the top 5 most ridiculous positions in our history you firmly hold two of them. You post a lot about them while at the same time begrudging other people of their positions and claiming that our fanbase has been a problem in our history. The issue isn’t those fans actually having expectations or you thinking not playing someone is worth $35 million dollars a year it’s that our leaders have us in the perpetual wheel of failure that leaves us only with the same things to discuss or to defect. I know that you think well then leave then is a viable solution but at the moment that would sometimes be enough to fill half of a $350 million investment, we need to be acquiring fans and not hemorrhaging them.

They could do like UConn tried with them ... just make up a trophy without the other side knowing it, slap any previous scores on it, and start the propaganda machine up on what a stories rivalry it is

I do think c is our "best" rivalry, however I'd be interested in scheduling other schools which we strive to compete with athletically and academically. Doubt other schools from the southeast (UNC/UVA/GaTech) would want a rivalry with a scrappy Florida team with a chip on it's shoulder, but we could probably lure in a more northern school without a true rival (Michigan St, Maryland?). Tough part is getting them on the schedule, then all we have to do is make it interesting.

Think you would make tons writing books. If & when you do you can always donate it towards USF. Go Bulls

I am not sure of where the line is when positivity goes too far but I think most of us can agree that this is on the wrong side of it, still I appreciate the sentiment.
