If basketball is getting a fair split of the money, there will be a conflict of interest when making decisions. The P5 conferences are football driven and all money and decisions go through them. Once you have more than one chef in the kitchen (football and basketball), it gets messy, it’s a house divided; and divided houses fall eventually. That’s the point I’m trying to make.

And basketball is just not the big money maker football is. Look at the BigEast tv contract as a perfect example. Gonzaga will not bring them enough money to make it worthwhile

Exactly. Either big 12 has no idea what they are doing or they have some kind of ace up their sleeve. To me it is like the PAC 12 basically played the big 12 by announcing the agreement while big 12 is having their media week lol. Well played.

No one thinks this lol the PAC 12 has no agreement. Saying you verbally agreed to the framework of a GOR doesn't mean anything without a tv deal to actually sign it with.

Don’t be surprised if they have. And yes I would like that. Still doesn’t change the facts that they have been all over the place and they will look like fools if they end up without any of the PAC schools after all the BS they have been putting out there
