I Hope y’all are right. I really do. I just see zero evidence that you are.

Still counts as a mention. Remember all the big 12 peeps telling everyone that AZ & CU were big 12 bound? How is that working out lol

Kind words by Austin Cox. I hope he's right, although I'm not so sure about the need for the ACC to "backfill soon." He must be presuming a way out of the GoR.

Also, not sure if USF TBone and Xavier Gomez frequent this site, but:

(1) I sincerely doubt 7 schools bolt from the ACC. That would be an earthquake in college athletics. And unlikely - an example of supply far exceeding demand.

(2) Not sure what "appealing" means. Would I still want to join an ACC without FSU and Clemson? Absolutely! Still better than our current conference.

Big 12 has site visit with Memphis. This after visiting UConn.

IF this is true, there has been plenty of talk about the B12 focusing on basketball so it makes perfect sense ....

Yes, Memphis and Tulane have stadiums, but I've heard rumors we're building one very soon.

Memphis is not a very good academic school. However, Tulane is - AAU, like USF.

Just some clarification ....

 - The Liberty Bowl is owned by the city of Memphis

 - FWIW, UM was recently designated an R1, which I have no clue what that means but saw it mentioned somewhere in all the AAU talk.

They wanted Gonzaga as well... the rumor was they would split their basketball rights out of the next contract b/c they would be the best basketball conference in the country.

Especially since they are looking at adding annual games in Mexico.

R1 is the Carnegie Research classification.  USF has been R1 for a couple decades (at least)... and it's not that big of a deal, since UCF is also R1.

Not picked again… you would think with our brains (AAU) and our $300m new big boobs (OCS) we would be more attractive..

Maybe because we don't put out (W-L record)?
