Give it 4 or 5 years. NIL will kill it before the conference crap does.

Pretty soon you will have to donate a certain amount of NIL money to players to buy season tickets.

Lol i would not call being stuck in basically a west coast conference lucky. Now if they would of got into the ACC/BigTen/SEC then i would agree. Basically it is a hodge podge or nothingness….

Agreed, I still think the ACC holds together fairly well. I think the BigTen goes after Cal and Stanford (for USC and UCLA), maybe GT and Duke/UM, but that would be it. SEC may get Clemson and FSU. ACC would backfill with South Florida, Memphis, Temple and ECU. Still a good conference, with a good name/reputation and we would have less traveling.

If I were the ACC, I would learn from the Big East debacle and be proactive and aggressive right now. The GoR is good and all, but you can’t take a chance of the B12 snaking a few schools that could help you get ahead of the expansion and provide stability.

Heck yeah!  Hell a lot better kickoff time slots on the east coast than in the west coast. USF will be fine when all is said & done.

It’s a high paying hodgepodge that will offset any travel expenses. They will probably sell out most home games even if they raise ticket prices. I wish USF could get some of that luck anywhere in the Country.

I’m sorry but not many people in Florida give a crap about watching big 12. I could see the argument if they still had their flag ship schools like OU, Texas, Nebraska, Texas A&M but they don’t . Can’t get excited about watching Iowa St, Baylor, Texas Tech etc lol. I suggest USF fans forget about the big 12 as they basically already turned USF down twice. ACC will be the better conference long term
