Here is my proposed trade:

Hey Big 10, give us a membership. 

We will pay $25 million membership fee, then accept 25% payout for 2 years, followed by 50% payout for 2 years, followed by 75% payout for 2 years.

I think getting national brands like USC and UCLA were more the reason than the market itself.

The days of adding a rutgers or maryland to force cable providers in their region to add the big 10 network are over.

Now it will be how many subscribing fans a school can bring that matters.

Tampa is growing but more importantly USF is maturing. Tons of untapped potential. We have shown we can grow a fanbase (and rapidly) if we win.

I don't think it's fair to expect us to pre-build some The Big House II without a deal in hand, but sure give us the deal and we'll expand it.  

As of now, we are playing the little kitten sisters of the Catamounts.
