Look - I know B1G would be awesome.

But there seems to be 3 conferences with a large grouping of AAU schools.

B1G would be beyond our wildest dreams

ACC would be our dreams

Now, lets talk about the PAC - they are shopping for schools - how would we feel about being added with Tulane, SMU, and Rice. to form an eastern branch of the league. 3 big markets, NOLA is solid. Would we take this, or roll the dice something better is coming, and risk not getting anything. Still lots of great schools in the PAC (assuming it doesn't fall apart).

Haven't we always said this is a problem for scheduling for the non football and basketball sports, not to mention very expensive?

I would accept it, begrudgingly so. My mom always told me beggars can’t be choosers, so I am following that creed.

I would rather ACC for travel, and ultimate dream would be B10. I would love for my alma mater to play against my dad’s alma mater (tOSU).

Who knows, maybe B10 snags Ga Tech, Miami, USF, and ND for expansion targets.

Yep - but if the TV money is an extra $20-$25 million a year over what we are getting now. It needs to be considered.

I would take the PAC in a heartbeat if it was the only offer. While not my first choice, the important thing would be getting the hell out of the AAC.

But there’s only a 10% chance of that.

My guess is a that is a UCF  fan 99% chance or a FAU fan 1% chance.

only issue as a fan would be a lot of late starts.

When we played at BYU a few years ago it was a 10:15 EST start time.

Can’t be that bad. We are playing in the AAC not the SEC or Big Ten so we should expect USF to compete within two seasons imo. Heck if USF would of had a decent defense under Scott even he probably would have got USF to a bowl game

Offense was solid with an occasional flash of punching above that. You could definitely have reached bowl eligibility with that offensive output if the defense weren't wet paper towel strong lol If Golesh can elevate the defense even to just average or below average instead of terrible, you're cooking with oil and win 6.

There is another thing too - we would play all our home football games at noon Eastern I would bet .... since none of the west schools can play home games in that slot, to give tv partners inventory in that time slot.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
