Okay read here from CFN.  They predict Big 12 takes Memphis, Tulane and USF, but they've been on the USF to B12 bandwagon for a while so no real news other than they don't think the 4 corners to B12 will happen.

That's worrying; if he can't convince coaches to come to USF; how is he going to convince Power 5 conferences that USF is a viable option for expansion.

Pete Fiutak, specifically, has been a long time supporter of USF getting into the Big 12.  He posted that he thought it was mistake USF was not included when UCF was.

Exactly. It is probably one of the reasons why I now don’t really want USF going to the big 12. They have been making bad decisions and losing tons of schools throughout the years. I just would not be excited about big 12 now with all those western schools
