I am referring more to collectively it can’t get much worse than the last four seasons. Without a doubt the darkest time in USF football history

USF officials can’t make same mistake they made once they got into the Big East. One of the biggest issues that led to where we are is that our administrators acted like that’s it we made it and rather than keep investing in program, just did enough to keep it going. We never moved to top of Big East and seemed ok with it.

Administrators and donor base ....... Looks like, hopefully, both are ready now.

I have zero doubt that the stadium that they built will be helpful to their case in future realignment.

USF is attractive for many reasons to the BIg 12. The media market, us being in Florida,.... I really believe that if we had sustained winning under Strong we would have been invited by the Big 12 by now. Also the Big 12 would want a travel partner and a built in rivalry for UCF.

big 12 has terrific leadership making poor decisions. I personally hope we get in ACC over big 12. big 12image has been taking major hits losing a lot of schools lately

I don't disagree with your sentiments ... but people have to remember what our facilities were like in 2003 when the Big East invitation came along:

Soccer played and practiced inside the track and field stadium.  Softball was basically an intramural field.  Both basketball teams shared practice space in the rec center with intramurals and student pick up games.  $50 million raised from our donor base was invested in across the Olympic sports; this was critical to bring the facilities up to par with the Big East.

Yes, USF did not invest in football... but at that time there were other sports that desperately needed investment.

USF failed to follow that up with more investing in football... and then the Big East collapsed.

Yes, it would be preposterous. More so in my mind because I have never cared about the SEC or Big Whatever conferences. I have always liked the ACC and USF's current conference. Those others don't mean much to me. Guess we'll see what happens... 🙂🤘

going to make more sense when USF replaces FSU in the ACC

I think the sunbelt is actually better.

Only because they have some Georgia teams. AAC made a mistake not to find at least one Georgia school

When Tulane and SMU leave, the AAC can add Georgia State and Georgia Southern.

Would be interesting if USF is still in AAC by then. But it looking more likely that both UConn & USF will be replacing FSU & Clemson in the ACC
