Notre Dame, UNC, Oregon, FSU, and Washington make the most sense according the their analysis...

  • Notre Dame, Ok State, UNC, and Oregon are the best "athletic excellence" -- "according to weighted averages of football and men’s basketball success and total team NCAA titles"
  • Cal, Washington, UNC, and UVA are the best "fit" -- "according to weighted averages of various academic ratings, total enrollment and rivalry history with current Big Ten schools"
  • Notre Dame, Florida State, Oregon, and Clemson are the best "market" -- "according to weighted averages of total revenue, TV ratings, popularity and media footprint"

Surprised GT doesnt have academic excellence.  I am not sure Florida would want to have FSU in the divison.

Yes I think they made a mistake with GTech when it comes to academic excellence and also on market. While they don’t control a big market, having them in BigTen would give that league more attention in ATL market.

I think FSU and Clemson make the most sense to SEC  and even though UF might not like it the SEC much rather have them than give that opening to BigTen

I just don't see Clemson and FSU actually leaving. There will be a renegotiation to keep the ACC together.

Also they should do like soccer does if you win you move up and you lose you move down. So hear me out.

If we have a 12 or 16 team playoff. All FBs conference winners get to go to the playoffs. If you win your conference versus conference playoff game everyone in your conference gets winners money the next year. There would be ten difference conference pay out rates. The TV contracts and Bowl earning revenue each year will change based on how your conference performs. All conference winners get a direct payout of 1,000,000 to their budget or something like that. Every year it is a race to be the best conference  contract and win your conference for the extra money. In theory the smallest FBs school could get the best payout if they beat the best conference in the national championship game.

1- Top payout to conference National Champions If two teams are from the same conference they the whole conference just gets 1st rate payout.

2- 2nd best ranking conference  2nd best payout

3- 3rd best conference based on results of playoff standings is 3rd best payout

4- 4th best conference gets 4th best payout

5th best conference gets 5th best payout

6- Best conference gets 6th best payout

7th- 7th best payout

8th- 8th best payout

9th - Best

10th Best

Plus UF seems to be down during these last few years.  Not sure if they can find another Spurrier or Urban to help get back in national spotlight

Their boosters and alumni do not give coaches with multiple losing records or two years of failure more time. They find a guy who can get the job down or offer the hit the road jack and don't ya come back treatment. They still have multiple championships , conference championships, and SEC EAST championships in the last 20 years.

You see what I mean? UF has not been in the national spot light for a while now. Won a lot of championships with Spurrier & Meyer. Let’s see if their new coach can handle the pressure…

Nobody here in Atlanta cares about GT football, especially their students who are too busy playing disc golf and drinking chai latte’s

Not a given. Miami hasn't been relevant for a while now.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
