Won’t surprise me at all to see PAC 12 take a few Big 12 schools to help worn their contract talks

Nothing is real yet, but the idea that Boise is crazy to me.

SDSU, Boise St, Baylor, Ok State, T Tech, and SMU would be strong adds in my opinion.

I spoke to my friend who is a CU Buffs fan and he hates the fact that he has to pay for the PAC12 network just to watch games.

That first part from the South Division AD saying he hasn't been in any dark rooms and there haven't been any conversations or anything ... from the story in The Athletic a few weeks back, I wouldn't be surprised if the school's President is having these conversations and isn't looping them in until the end. The vibe that seems to be presented this summer is that very very few people know exactly what is happening and whether teams are moving until the teams are actually moving.

The PAC like the BigTen has issues with taking schools with weak academics, religious beliefs etc.

So doubt you would see Boise or Baylor being added.

They might hold their noses under current conditions and take SDSU, Houston, Ok State, Kansas and Iowa State. Texas Tech, TCU and SMU are bigger reaches but wanting Texas market might move them.

Why would a B12 team go the PAC. That’s crazy.

Again, why would any B12 school go the PAC? I can tell you there is no way KU or Ok State would even pick up the phone.

Didn’t say any of them would. What I stated was in response to his naming Baylor etc as possible targets. As I stated even if interested many of the B12 wouldn’t be acceptable to the PAC.

I think the PAC and theBig12 offer about the same. TheBig12 advantage is that none of their schools are attractive to SEC or BigTen. But if Oregon and Washington don’t get taken by BigTen now, for at least now it’s a better conference with better names and better academics. After all you are still talking about universities here.

At the end I doubt neither picks the other unless  BigTen poaches more PAC schools and I don’t see that happening without ND

But that’s just it, the B12 schools know that it’s just a matter of time before Oregon and Washington are gone (and probably Stanford as well). If anything the four corner schools from the PAC will be leaving for the B12 soon enough.

You’ll need more than a one day event. You are stuck in 80s with that statement. Once Oregon and Washington leave the Rose Bowl will be looking for a new strategy.
