Actually, if you look at Willie's career, he's had 5 hc gigs and left 3 of them better off than when he got there, so not quite reverse.

True!

Looks like a slim possibility but we won't get an invite if Scott cant coach and develop a better product on the field.

Honestly, I hope SDSU gets that call up.

I have heard Houston may garner interest as well, especially if they are not bound by the Payout for leaving the B12 before they get there.

I don’t see Houston going though.

I think, SDSU, Fresno, maybe Nevada for the market, CSU, Boise, and maybe Wyoming all make good targets and fit that need to hold the later time slots. I personally say invite them all, but I am not the conference leader.

If PAC goes to 16. B12 and ACC have to be looking at who else to add.

Yeah, a recent article suggested the Pac# taking SMU and Houston.

If that happens we will at least be mentioned by an armchair expert as going to the B12.

I highly doubt that SMU and Houston would go to the PAC12. B12 is seemingly equivalent in value, and the extra cost in travel would suck.

Over and over again?  Your chances of success are limited.  Off topic, but we need to stop with the stepping stone mindset and prepare to have success and change head coaches when WE want to.  That means winning and paying.  Otherwise you are doomed.  There are people out there that don't just chase the next bag, they have built great programs.

TEN consecutive post-seasons and 17 of the past 18. That's how you build a program.

Got canned at La Tech so he wasn’t exactly Vince Lombardi.  However I get your point and will always hate Genshaft for how she destroyed our team.

I'm sure It's not a stepping stone mindset within Athletics but it is a stepping stone reality where we are. MK hired CJS to be here forever and maybe he will be but you don't NEED a head coach to be here forever to have a great program. You do need one to start a good build so let's get one of those before worrying about how long he's going to be here. We have enough other **** to worry about ...

No you don't, but the more frequently they change, the less likely you are to be successful.
