Conference realignment "Rumors" "tweets" "etc"

I've seen about 100 tweets from those guys in this thread. Only ONE has been right. They're full of ****.

You said we'd be better off with espn. So I guess no one is right all of the time.

That's a statement of opinion. Not fact.

 

So is your statement.  Just because something hasn't become official YET, doesn't mean the tweet was incorrect.

Difference is the dude and mhver have actually made some credible calls, like saying in August that the Big 10 would move (i've posted the exact tweets before, can't dig them up now). In addition, they don't just post random facts, they post well-thought out, cohesive stories that frankly, only a clinically insane person could or would come up with just for fun. 

 

I'm not saying believe everything. I'm saying if you wanna be a fly on the wall, they're as close as you'll get, as long as you acknowledge you're playing a bit of a game of telephone.

Bryn Mawr, Speilman , Barnard ,Mount Holyoke, are all rumored to be going to the Big Twelve, which means that when St. Mary's College and Sweet Briar move to the ACC we should be first in line out of Conference TBA. I'm just glad we won't have to contend with Thursday night games against Speilman. Atlanta's nice...but those Speilman fans leave a lot to be desired...keying cars, turning over trash cans...and the players, gouging eyes! I won't be missing it.  

 

And just to be clear...when you're in your fifties, that "long term view of the program" doesn't really pay dividends. Hard to get enthusiastic about the 2060 Bulls when you'll be running a worm farm. 

 

 

I like Wooly's name for the new league. Let it be so, until otherwise stated...
