Those two will go or stay together. The bottom line for them to move they must be sure that

#1 Oregon, Washington or Stanford are leaving for BigTen in next two years or so.

#2 Big12 can offer them much more money now than the current PAC 

I dont see the B12 being able to provide that nor the BigTen taking anyone else from PAC right now without ND

You feel this media campaign by the Big 12. We hear, the Pac-12 is getting lowballed by ESPN at $24.5 million per school per year with just the 10 staying. Then we hear, the Big 12 expects $42.6 million a year with the 12 schools after Texas and OU leave. Makes no sense but that is what is pushing the narrative.
