And there you have your answer. USF and any other AAC or UConn would take a discount which means more money for others. Also the GOR runs out in Big12 in two years but the conference exit fees do not, and that’s still the last two years of media rights.

We can only hope that the AAC is serious and looks at USF in a positive manner. Then of course their is the FSU/Miami issue with competition and the fact the conference already has the FL market. My other concern is that the ACC may want more of a splash addition and if they don’t get it may just sit still (which contractually espn could insist on).

Think the writing is on the wall that FSU & Clemson will be heading to SEC whenever they are free. So if ACC is looking longterm they will go with MK’s USF Bulls to keep two Florida schools. Im sure the Big 12 is scrambling around and are probably gonna try to invite USF before the ACC invites us so we are in kind of a tug of war.

Only way USF to ACC now makes sense is for the getting extra money. I think that Clemson and FSU to SEC is only a matter of time. But if you can keep them put until contract runs out then you need that extra income.

Yes time is good. With the OCS on the way I am thinking we will get invited before it is completed

Those schools would be fine if they know that the additions would put enough money in their pockets until they head out.

Yes money talks in this day & age with college football so I can see them agreeing to vote in UConn & USF as long as it helps their pocket book.
