Those were the f'n days though....  We had to go from about three forums to 12+, then there were calls to separate Football onto its own board....incredible interest.  It was a lot easier to handle a knucklehead when you had hundreds, if not thousands of rabid, hopeful fans.

You will get an IM from Brad, possibly even a suspension of posting rights for a few days, so you will know, (this is what I have been told anyways by somebody else, not from experience).

Probably me when I was known as GoldenBrahman back in the early stages of the bullspen lol. I know I had many bouts vs KL and the rest of the UCIFERS

Does this sound vaguely familiar to the old BE days when there were thoughts of a bidding war? IIRC there was not and ESPN crushed the BE football side.

Actually, there was a competition (not sure it's a "war" per se). But ESPN had the right to match.  What USF gets now is because NBC submitted a bid that ESPN matched.
