To me, it's only half joking. I also get why some don't like the Times but as our Donor level history has shown, fans as a whole haven't really ever made it rain when it comes to shelling out money for the school and I'm sure that hasn't gone unnoticed by prospective suitors ... that does appear to be changing to a degree.

Ok, I took a guess.  I didn't read the article in the tweet but read one a couple weeks ago that was much improved. It was by a guy named Matt.  Matt Fowler?

I find the coverage of the Tampa papers to be negative most of the time and that goes all the way back to Leavitt and McMurphy days. They always cover themselves by saying they just report and are not there to write feel good stories about USF. But that’s a lie when you see the difference in how they write about UF and USF.

They covered usf attendance with a passion but it took a National newspaper to break that fsu had a bigger issue than we did. For some reason that’s the one item they took more interest in usf than fsu.
