I think it demonstrates they don’t want to join all of the B12 teams which may or may not have anything to do with not wanting any of the B12 teams to join them

So will PAC 12 go back and stay at PAC 10? They probably go after the Texas market.

Sounds to me like they don't want them. The alliance with the ACC would provide access to large east coast markets. Could they have tried to raid the Big 12? For sure. But then they just would have done that. Going straight to working with the ACC means they didn't want to. Just my guess but it could be an academic culture thing, where they see the ACC schools as peers in that regard and not so much the Big 12.
