Everyone comes and goes, except for a few fans.  They stick it out.

Millions paid out and no expectations or positive results.  What did we expect?

I guess the other conference commissioners and TV outlets probably recognize the same thing.

Like Skip? Nothing is guaranteed. A coach would have had to come in here and gone undefeated for two years, winning a minimum of 1 BCS bowl to have possibly had any impact on getting in....... and that wasn't happening with what Chuck left us. You don't have an argument here.

There is always an argument to be had, and there is always something you can do better to improve your outcomes, that we aren’t doing it isn’t proof that it was impossible.

How about this ..... "We don't have a Charlie Strong problem, we have a Michael Kelly problem".

That guy?  Then MK really is wasting his time.

There are always several things you can do better to improve your outcomes... USF is doing one of those things -- just not the thing you would expect them to do.

And hindsight is always 20/20.

Another rumor is that the SEC will invite Ok State.

Well, I apologize for my off topic outbursts.  We're getting ahead of ourselves anyway.

She confirms ACC schools have started the process to get out of the ACC (GOR).

Interesting article from 2021 (which may have been posted here previously) showing the viewership of the top 89 FBS teams (uses 2015-2019 numbers) -- here is where USF ranks compared to the current AAC members:

37. Navy (1.01M)
52. Houston (689K)
60. UCF (566K)
61. Memphis (564K)
66. Cincinnati (430K)
68. USF (407K)
72. Temple (354K)
76. Tulsa (265K)
77. SMU (232K)
84. East Carolina (82K)
88. Tulane (42K)

USF is ahead of six P5 programs.

TV viewership isn’t always the best way to measure a college football program’s value. But here’s how each school ranks since 2015.

And with that said, USF still is not close to reaching their potential. I think we were getting close around 2007 with Leavitt but things didn’t go as planned.  We all will know it when we get back to that.

For those asking for reports from "blue checkmarks" . . . a report out of KSL5 in Salt Lake City.

What is that? Building an inferior and smaller stadium that is fit for the G5? If the ACC was in play Pitt and Miami would like to point out that sometimes it’s better to play in an NFL stadium, also that the ACC doesn’t apparently care about that.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
