Not exactly….

I mean, if the left overs from the other three merging snag the best of the rest of G5, we can possibly be pulled into that. I just don’t see a way that we make it to the Superpower 2, or the 3rd merged conference.

Or no that ship has sailed my friend. We were NEVER going to be in the big 2 or 3. Our best scenario is a best of the rest conference.

One other thing that the school has been doing is working on the embarrassing donor levels. When MK came in, we were at $2.27M in 2018. As of 2021, that figure is $6.22M. Still the lowest of any schools whose finances are visible that I can find, but a lot closer than we were before.

Are you saying that the 2018 low number doesn't include all monies from donors? I'm still confused about this  whole "general fund". Does all the money donated not show up under "Donations/Contributions" in those reports?

My favorite part is they said AAU was an important criteria they would use and then gave a list where every single team was a no on that criteria. Wouldn’t you just remove that when you completed the list?

If you set out to do the list and then learned no one was available with that criteria, I would probably leave it as something that could make a difference if achieved.  However  I have to imagine at least one of Rice, Tulane and Buffalo were being looked at by the author and when none of them made my list I would question how important I personally thought that criteria actually was.
