I believe that part of those low numbers is due to accounting stuff. The new donation model will funnel more $$$ into the general fund.

Someone who wants to give 250 to the stadium next year will neither be in the Bulls Club, not GBS. Will that help or hinder donations? I get conceptually the desire to drive money into the Annual Fund, I just think with a stadium fund coming, we might see lower participation in general giving, less Bulls Club members... but I'm not an insider so I don't know for sure.

Combine that and the rumor of the B12 cancellation clause and guess where UCF goes.

1. If we go Indy we would not make enough $ to support the other sports on campus.

2. If we go Indy all away games we will be out of sight out of mind to alumni and the the Tampa community.

3. If you shut it down alumni donations will drop.

4. If we shut it down we will be perceived as a failure university by many. College football is tv exposure that creates an image in the south (even if you suck).

You are making way too much sense.  Idiocy is not able to comprehend what you are saying.  So maybe don't try to be reasonable with unreasonable people.

It seems to me that the BIG10 and SEC are positioning themselves as the AFC and NFC of the NFL......the rest including PAC, ACC, Big 12, and AAC will be USFL level and maybe one or two will get a seat once a year at the playoffs just to throw the rest of the college football world a bone.

I'll rephrase my last comment.......The rest of College football will not be USFL level, that is too degrading.  But clearly, there will be a divide of talent and prestige between the BIG/SEC and the rest of the College football world.

I actually don't think there will be a Power 5 anymore.  The Big 12, PAC and ACC will be thrown in with the rest of the left including our AAC.  Every school will be clamoring to get into these 2 conferences because the rest will be second rate in most peoples opinion.

Man if/when the ACC gets picked apart, I am going to be very bummed.  That's my favorite thing about Saturdays going back to being a kid.
