This is what they drew up for the AAC/MWC/Big12/Pac12 that didn't get picked up in their Power 2:

I could live with this!

Looking at how good/stable the Sun Belt  is looking, I wonder if we should set our sights on going there as a platform for our next move. With stronger football, it may be a better long-term move for us that could result in a ACC invite.

Just thinking out loud, take it easy on me! LOL

In my opinion it is simple. It really comes down to what Oregon, Washington, and Stanford want to do. If they leave then the Big12 will gobble the leftovers and we will have to wait until 2036 before any ACC school leaves for the SEC and we get a shot as an ACC replacement.  If Oregon, Washington, and Stanford give it a go in the PAC they will poach the Big12 then we will get an opportunity to move to the Big12…albeit a very watered down Big12.

Yet no one saw UCLA and USC coming....

No one cares about you wrong coast people, if it didn’t happen on the east coast then it didn’t happen.

Unless the ACC can land Notre Dame and then they would renegotiate their television and GOR deal.

I don’t know how that window works. I suspect however, it does not make all of the AAC teams free agents during the negotiation.

I don’t know why but it’s so easy to see us getting left out….again.

Think positive until there is a reason not to, we got the IPF, Soon an OCS, a Lacrosse team, women’s beach volleyball, upgraded tennis courts, new locker rooms,  I believe in MK.  I don’t think he did all of this on a whim, he knows something.
