I have heard from three separate news sources that FSU to SEC, and USF/UCF to Big12 is all but a done deal... could be a rumor on one hand, or it could be the most awesome **** ever.

However just for violation and grins, what happens to our $$ if we leave... do we forfeit all of that dough we just got?

I would love the Big 12 taking us. But as a pair UCF/USF just got a TV contract that pays $2 mil a year. How do we increase the Big 12's bottom line?

It's jut not happening at this point. THe ACC? IF they're raided, there would be a good chance of that happening.

Great point.

You mean like you should after posting that Skip was going to resign?  According to your source.  Bwhaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha. Its one thing to not believe fan generated nonsense about USF going to whatever Power 5 conference but to claim to have sources? You crack me up.

This thread should be put in the HOF:

We all know how reliable your "sources" have been in the past.

They are the same as Hem's on Skip resigning. :roflmao:

Really dude? I called Skip's firing before it even happened, you tool. Sorry I titled the topic wrong but if you go back and read the thread I stated that "Skip Holtz will no longer be an employee at the University of South Florida effective monday" and that was what...Saturday night? He was fired when? Sunday? Yep.

Now buck up you fat pudgy loser. If we move to a new conference by April 2015 will you never post here again?

How do we increase the Big 12's bottom line?

The Tampa to Orlando corridor has something around 7-8 million cable subscribers.

The University of Texas knows this and they want their network to get into the state of Florida. If FSU and/or Miami decide not to go their way, then we are the next best option.

If it increases the University of Texas' bottom line, then they will find a way to make it happen.

That's a stretch. They can't even get the next on providers in their home state, or most states in the Big 12. They've been forced to broadcast LHN games in opponents' market.

It's just not reasonable at this time.

Which means that it's just another exercise in keyboarding. Just go ahead and stick a few of those 'source' links on here, and we can peruse them at our leisure.

I'm pretty sure that most people understand, by now, that IF USF were to move to the Nuevo Post-Miami Post-FSU ACC that it would be just the residuals of the

conference and nothing more than the old 'Big East/CUSA' combo package. It would not be one of the 'Power' conferences. By that point in time we would have

the P4 and everyone else. All we would have is yet another new conference logo attached to our uniforms.

Apart from the name calling, I give Hem props for calling skips ousting.  Sure he didn't resign, but he was gone.  He heard what he heard and relayed the news.  Some of the fine details were jumbled, but we knew about it before it happened.

I'm not sure he's a fraud.  A little overzealous maybe.

I browsed the last 3 pages of the 500+ page realignment thread at shaggybevo.com (Texas board) and didn't see one mention of USF or UCF. Their main talking point was weather ot not Texas could join the SEC if it wanted to with lots of speculation about other conference moves, but no mention of USF. This is a board if there were rumors I would expect them to know so I doubt this big 12 talk has any legs at all.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
