I’m sure a lot of people in the Big East weren’t happy when we got invited. It will all work out.

This situation sucks, but until we beat an FBS team, we are still the de facto doormat of this conference even with these potential new members.  Until we beat somebody, we really have nothing to say.

Can't see Navy being in the west and Memphis being in the east.  Swap those two and that's probably it.

Navy wants to be in the west for Texas recruiting. It's the same reason they're in there now despite being one of 2 teams in the north east corner of the AAC.

I wonder if this is how the big east teams' fans felt when they lost Miami, VT and BC and then heard the news that the replacements were USF, Cinci and Louisville?

Probably close, but we’ve at least heard of the possible new teams. Outside of Pitt, the rest of the BE was going “what the **** is a USF??”

ESPN screwed us again by not letting us raid the SBC. Outside of the MWC, the most exciting options were there.

This was my thought exactly.  This is probably still the thought process outisde of Florida .

Honestly, i had no idea UTSA and UAB existed until very recently. No clue Charlotte was a team so there's that.
