Aresco still slinging that P6 rhetoric is absolutely laughable.  The AAC is a dead conference run by a clueless clown.

It could be a lot worse. P6 is kinda funny, but we're tallest midget (or tied with the MWC) among the unwashed masses.

We're barely hanging on to that.  Even the "or tied with MWC" part is sad

In my opinion, once the 3 leave, we will be behind the MWC.

When all the smoke clears, MWC will be much better than AAC, especially if Aresco the clown is taking the mindset of bring in lesser teams to the conference

This is me rationalizing a huge amount. But, unless we're competing annually with SEC teams for a national title, does it really matter what conference we're in? I mean, yes, but ignore that for now. I'm switching/lowering my standards to just hoping we can play energetic, fun football, have winning seasons most years, go bowling again most years, and occasionally win the conference title of whatever conference we're in. Oh, and get an OCS.

From a fan's point of view, understanding that we're not a land grant school with a hundred plus years of football history, I don't know that we can really hope for more than that. We will never be UF, FSU, or Miami. In a hundred years, no matter what happens, we still won't be UF, FSU, or Miami. Our clock started in 1997 and they've all had decades of history before then. We're never going to be in that club, even if we luck out one day and get into one of their conferences.

At least we're not a commuter school anymore. Go Bulls!

I am glad no one has mentioned Southern Mississippi.  I'd rather concern ourselves with quality over quantity.

I wonder how the miserable Eagle in Yune is doing these days.  Actually, no I don't. 🙃

So bringing a team into our conference and putting them on the same level playing field we are on helps them to rise up as a program?   Where have I heard this before?  How about  FAU or FIU?   Maybe we could create a cute little rivalry and one day both of us will be taken to the P5 promised land as a package deal

What difference does it make now, the damage is done and we are destined for a life of purgatory no matter who is brought in and who is not.  I am to the point that I simply want is to win a ******* game, 2 years is about 2 years too long.

I agree.  The MWC is gearing up to be the best of the rest after the P5.  The AAC is going to be even more of a joke.
