It's kind of a bummer that they had to take a swipe at the AAC. That's unhelpful. We just need to merge and be done with it. 20 teams across the entire US. Don't they read TheBullsPen?

Man that was a rough morning read.

I read a separate article that mentioned UTSA, Marshall, and App State as our new 3, with Arkansas State as a possible 4th

Arkansas State and UTSA will really draw the Pro Sports Tampa fans to Ray Jay. Hmmmmm I have a limited budget this weekend, I can go see the Lightning play at Amalie or the Road Runners of UTSA play the Bulls in front of a deader than dead crowd at Ray Jay. I wonder which one the casual fan will choose? 😂😂

Replace those two with Tulsa and Tulane and that perfectly describes what USF has been up against for almost a decade ....

This is true but now USF has to deal with the optics of ucf passing us and going to the P5. You may not think so but that matters. Good luck to Ryan Samuels and his crew selling season ticket packages with that nugget hanging over us.

It doesn't matter to the casual fan you referred to up there and shouldn't matter to actual, for lack of a better word, USF fans. If it does matter to too many, it's just another indicator that we're exactly where we should be and maybe lucky to be even here.
