Conference realignment since we got into the Big East has been one depressing hit after the other. I'm just hoping we do actually get an OCS. At this point, I'm for watching the Bulls play on campus in our own stadium in whatever ****** conference we get stuck in. The real power conferences seem to only be interested in big land grant schools with years and years of tradition (donors, fans for merch, etc. etc.). Even if we do break into a P4/5 conference, it'll be the shittiest one. Who cares anymore. Let's just get good at football again and have fun with it.

I assume there wouldn't be an offer until someone's already agreed to come. I'd assume everything is under the table until both sides are 100ish% and then they go public.

There used to be rules for conference championships and whatnot, but with a powerless and withering NCAA letting most others do whatever the hell they want to do, why don't we just do whatever the hell we want?

If the TV money is going to drop anyway, I would agree. Why dilute our pittance by having to split it even more ways? More non-conference games would (hopefully) allow us to schedule some more exciting teams, maybe get more TV exposure. Something. Anything. Ugh.

My only concern now is if the MWC goes after SMU, Tulane, and/or Memphis. Unlikely, but I’ve seen crazier things these past few months with college football.
