I saw a story on the website of the sports magazine of my lifetime - Sports Illustrated.  I thought this must be legit, but it was written by some tinman associated with 247 or one of the other blogger sites.  Quickly realized that while it could end up being "true" it was a waste of my time.

UCFers have a huge advantage over us.  They cut corners, they prioritized football, they didn't fire a coach that needed to be fired far more than ours did and they actually flood the zone with propaganda.  They care.

You throw enough **** against the wall some of it's bound to stick and the majority of bloggers do just that. This guy appears to be an actual journalist, especially in comparison to the bloggers, so I wouldn't lump him in with them ....... but hope he's wrong as those being the actual final group.

I loathe Oviedo just as much as any Bulls fan, but at some point you have to tip your cap and acknowledge that they’re doing everything they can to make sure they have a seat the table when the music stops.

2 more Texas schools doesn’t seem logical. ACC doesn’t want another Florida school and I’d be upset AAC tried to bring in FAU.

They also had a 20 year head start on football and was able to grow a fan base organically ....

I don't disagree.  Success came fast to us, we didn't know how to handle.  Those guys gutted it out in crappy conferences and crappy facilities....moving to AAC was a hand up, we hated that we had to go.  It ****** with us, it rejuvenated them.
