The sub committee the Big 12 had appointed is the leadership of Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas, and Iowa State. They are leading the charge for the conference. Led by TT's Kirby Hocutt who led the CFP Committee as well. Let's hope Michael Kelly can work some CFP contacts and has relationships with the others to get us there...

He's working the phones and has tons of contacts. None of that guarantees us anything.

No guarantees at all. But there's a blueprint slowly developing with all the info slowly leaking each day. Better to work whatever contacts and relationships that you can than to not. And with this info, the roles of different individuals and that blueprint can take shape.

Does the B12 care about academics? I always though they cared about corn or something.

Tulane's stadium is great.  Would be perfect for us with an additional 10,000 seats and WITHOUT the Glazer name on it.

Articles I've been reading are pointing out that expansion decisions will be made by Presidents and Chancellors who seem to have a new emphasis on Academics.  We can only hope.
